As a responsible company, environment care has been fully incorporated in the production of our leathers. From the arrival of the raw material to the dispatch of the finished leathers, several operations are done to cleanse, sort, and recycle the wastes coming from the tanning and dyeing process.

Water treatment :
We have one year ago achieved the construction of a new water-waste station (capacity of 500 cubic meters / day) to treat our effluents. These, after physical treatments, are sent to the water-waste of the city for others cleansing operations.

Recycling and Energie saving :

Recycling is one of our main priority in term of environment care. We are now installing a new and state-of-the art technology boiler developed by the Lacaze company.

Thanks to this boiler, we shall recycle 8 tons of fleshing wastes per day, which represent about 80% of our total waste. The waste are heated in specific ovens and the energy resulting from this process is used to boiled the water that tanning and dyeing operations are requiring.

Waste sorting :
In addition to these main installations, all domestic wastes (paper, wood, cardboard, plastics…) are sorted in separated bins all over the 5000 sqm of the factory.
